Infrastructure

Infrastructure is about designing the environments that set the scene for much of our everyday life. Railway stations, travel centres, bus terminals, metro stations or airports. Thanks to decades of accumulated knowledge and experience, we have the ability to create beautiful and sustainable solutions – accessible to everyone.

Democratic complexity

Infrastructural projects are often extremely complex, with multiple technical types and requirements to be accommodated in the same area. They are generally large and comprehensive in both scale and cost, and because of the high degree of complexity they often have longer lead times than other construction projects. This complexity places great demands on technical expertise, coordination, ability to design, long-term planning and, last but not least, perseverance. White is proud to have completed several extensive infrastructure projects in a number of different areas, several of which have received international recognition and won awards, not least for their sustainability work.
