Climate change increases the risk of extreme weather events that can affect people, buildings, and local ecosystems. By analysing vulnerability and exposure early in the design process, we develop solutions that integrate both technical and nature-based measures. In urban development and landscape projects, we identify risks that may impact soil, buildings, infrastructure, and surrounding ecosystems. Using digital analyses – such as daylight and solar simulations, energy calculations, microclimate and wind assessments, as well as life cycle and climate impact calculations – we optimise designs for sustainability and long-term resilience. Grounded in regenerative design, we take a holistic approach, integrating technical and nature-based solutions across the urban landscape.

Resilient and Climate-Adapted Architecture

To support climate risk management and adaptation, we consider each site’s unique characteristics. Our services include assessments, strategies, and inventories of ecosystem services, climate risk analyses, and microclimate simulations (wind, water, heat, sun). We develop architecture and outdoor environments that enhance comfort and wellbeing, comply with building regulations and certification standards, and ensure spaces remain resilient to future extreme weather events.
