Jimmie is currently Marketing Director and Acting Director of our Stockholm office. He previously served as Director of our Halmstad office and has held several senior leadership roles at White, focusing on business development, marketing and organisational development. He combines extensive experience and expertise with strong commitment and a leadership style that enables others to succeed. As Director, he will now lead and further develop the Malmö office.
Jimmie Ahlgren appointed Director of White Arkitekter’s Malmö office
Jimmie Ahlgren has been appointed Director of White’s Malmö office. He will assume the role on 10 August, with the task of building on the office’s strong international position while continuing to develop White’s business in southern Sweden.

White has a strong position in Malmö, an outstanding team and clients with high ambitions. Together, we want to continue creating architecture and sustainable living environments that make a real difference.

A locally rooted office with an international reach
The Malmö office plays an important role in White’s international operations, contributing expertise and experience to projects far beyond Sweden’s borders. At the same time, the office is deeply engaged in the development of Malmö and southern Sweden through projects in sustainable urban development, transformation and innovative use of materials. Its work ranges from international competition-winning projects, such as Hafenkante in Hamburg, to the Skåne University Hospital Campus (NSM), the cultural analysis of Nyhamnen and the transformation of the Botanical Garden in Lund.
Since relocating to the renovated premises in Kungliga Posten, the Malmö office has also evolved into an open meeting place for architecture, dialogue and collaboration. Here, White explores new ways of working together with clients and partners to shape the living environments of the future.
Jimmie succeeds Martin Sundberg, who has served as Director of the Malmö office since 2017 and will be leaving White after nearly 20 years with the company.
Malmö is one of the Nordic region’s most exciting cities for architecture and sustainable urban development. Our team in Malmö is involved in a wide range of exciting projects, both locally and internationally, and has great potential to further strengthen White’s position on both fronts. Jimmie has the experience, commitment and drive needed to lead that development. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Martin Sundberg for his significant contributions during nearly 20 years at White.
