Parker – Furniture by Mizetto

Parker – Furniture by Mizetto

Parker is the first series of furniture in the Mizetto range designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The seats of the bench are surrounded by a metal band, creating the illusion of floating. The circular design principle is at the heart of Parker. With interchangeable components and a simple assembly process, the bench is a flat-pack solution that promotes durability and ensures its continued appeal as a preferred seating choice for those who appreciate flexible, sustainable design.

Bold and thoughtful design

Since its inception in 2004, Småland-based family business Mizetto has become an increasingly important player in the European design arena. When they opened their first North American showroom, they chose to do so with the presentation of the Parker furniture range, designed by White.

A strong range of furniture with the potential to last. Ease of renovation, along with a strong overall appeal, are the most important circular qualities we can give a product.

The idea with Parker was to give the furniture range a clear identity and graphic simplicity in the spirit of Mizetto, where circularity is a prominent aspect.

Materials that stand the test of time

Parker is the first piece of furniture in the Mizetto range designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The seats of the bench are surrounded by a metal band that gives the illusion of floating.

It is no coincidence that bamboo was chosen as the material for the slats. With its low carbon footprint and resistance to mould and rot, Parker is designed to withstand the rigours of nature and the test of time.

The circular aspect is woven into Parker's DNA; the design allows individual planks to be replaced or repaired rather than having to replace the entire product.
