White Arkitekter showcases design at Stockholm Design Week 2025

Stockholm Design Week is finally here, and we’re delighted to once again have several of our designs on display! Organised by Stockholm Furniture Fair, the week runs in parallel with the exhibition – Scandinavia’s leading platform for furniture and lighting design.

Across the city, Stockholm Design Week and the Furniture Fair create a dynamic programme of events, from open showrooms and studios to exhibitions and inspiring talks. Design is a broad and influential field that affects us all. At White Arkitekter, we take a holistic approach, rooted in architecture, sustainability, and people’s need for functional products with minimal climate impact. Our focus is on shaping environments that foster well-being while making the best use of available resources.

Stockholm Furniture Fair takes place from 4–8 February, welcoming industry professionals from Tuesday to Friday, with Saturday open to all design enthusiasts. Throughout the week, visitors can explore a selection of White-designed products, both at the fair and in various showrooms across the city. Among them is the circular furniture series Parker for Mizetto, designed by Andreas Sture and recently honoured with a prestigious mention at Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards 2024. Joining the showcase are the flexible and sustainable Turn table for Blå Station, the social seating piece Långbordet for Nola, and the elegantly acoustic Hikari pendant lamp for Zilenzio, designed by Olof Nordenson, illuminating the week in more ways than one.

We warmly invite you to the SFF Talks (A13:30) at the fair on Saturday at 14:00 for the panel discussion Building Tomorrow – How Design is Shaping Our Future. Designer Fredrik Paulsen, architect and founder of Studio He Xiao He, and White Arkitekter architect Robert Schmitz will share their reflections on the built environments of tomorrow, in a conversation led by Lisa Marie Mannfolk.

Parker for Mizetto – a furniture series for both indoor and outdoor use. With its sustainable choice of bamboo and a design that enables repair rather than replacement, Parker is a tribute to circular design and longevity – an expressive furniture series built to stand the test of time. Parker was also honoured with a special mention at the Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Awards 2024. Image: Jonas Lindström

Hikari for Zilenzio – an elegant acoustic pendant lamp in collaboration with White Arkitekter. Inspired by Gothic vaults, Hikari’s refined form and upward-reaching lines evoke a sense of harmony and openness, making it an ideal choice for workplaces, hotel environments, and other flexible spaces. With its restrained design language, Hikari is crafted to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, enhancing the overall space rather than dominating it. Image: Andreas Hyltén

Turn for Blå Station – a solid wood table in European oak and ash, built to age gracefully and be maintained over time. Fully aligned with White’s focus on circular design, its durable construction and flexibility help create more relaxed environments between structured workspaces. Image: Blå Station

Långbordet for Nola – a modular bench table system with endless configurations, designed to extend in length or form circular arrangements. More than anything, Långbordet is a social piece – a meeting place where everyone has a seat. The concept emerged from a collaboration between Nola, White Arkitekter, the City of Helsingborg, Kulturhotellet, and artist Ebba Matz, with the goal of creating a safer and more inclusive gathering space in Helsingborg. Whether for play, dining, celebrations, coffee breaks, studying, markets, or simply passing the time, Långbordet brings people together and connects them to their community. Image: Jann Lipka
