Nodi is five stories tall with wood at its core. The façade of linax-treated glulam and panel adds a warm touch visible from afar. The deep wooden seat niches along the interior of the façade, visible wooden beams in the ceiling and wood paneling make the natural feeling palpable throughout the building. Large glass partitions on the ground floor provide an inviting eye-catcher for visitors, and on the street level there are shops that are a natural part of the mixed city. At the very top, overlooking Nya Hovås and its surroundings, is the shared green roof terrace.
Nodi shortlisted for the Dezeen Awards
White Arkitekter’s groundbreaking office building Nodi is one of five finalists in the Business building category of the Dezeen Awards 2021. Together with Next Step and BRA, we have created a building that shows that it is possible to create high-quality wooden architecture that meets tomorrow’s demands for a modern building – but also that brave choices and a well-functioning process can create business opportunities and synergies for an entire district.
We’re very proud to be shortlisted in the Business building category of the Dezeen Awards 2021 amongst some great competition. Nodi is the result of a very ambitious collaboration with Next Step and BRA, and it’s exciting to see it being recognised internationally.

The winners of all 12 categories of the Dezeen Awards 2021 will be announced in October. The jury consists of some of the architecture world’s most influential people, and the assessment is made from a holistic perspective that includes appearance, innovation, user perspective and environment.
