Nodi named best business building 2021
In Nya Hovås, Gothenburg, we’ve designed the groundbreaking office building Nodi – a five stories tall wooden building with sustainability at its core. Today, the building won the “business building” category at the prestigious Dezeen Awards.
This is a wonderful example of sustainability.

The building were completed earlier this year, and is now receiving its first major international award, winning best business building at the Dezeen Awards 2021.

We agreed early on that Nodi would become a wooden gem in Nya Hovås, and that it now has been selected by such a reputable jury as one of the world's best architectural projects feels fantastic!

The jury consists of some of the architecture world’s most influential people, and the assessment is made from a holistic perspective that includes appearance, innovation, user perspective and environment.
The jury's motivation:
“This project demonstrates very good use of tall timber with quite a magnificent execution and a lot of sensitivity architecturally and technically. This is a wonderful example of sustainability. There’s something really great about shedding dependency on concrete.”
