– Our role is to support our clients in raising the bar for long-term sustainable architecture. I see this nomination not only as a recognition for us but also as a tribute to courageous collaborations and our clients, continues Alexandra Hagen.
In recent years, our international presence has increased, and we now have employees in Sweden, Norway, the UK, Germany, Canada and East Africa. In addition to this international expansion, several of our projects have been recognised in Sweden and internationally. One of them is Sara Cultural Centre, which is nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Awards 2024 and has been recognised as an international beacon of sustainable design. In May the 18th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia opened, where we were invited by curator Lesley Lokko to exhibit at the main exhibition The Laboratory of the Future. Through our exhibition “One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Trees” we ask whether it is possible to find a balance between the forest as a resource and the urgent need to preserve and rebuild fragile ecosystems.
