Working with Sweden’s cultural heritage requires a keen eye. The cultural environment is a multifaceted concept that links tradition, the present, and the future, where historical traces serve as a driving force to create added value.

Prioritising cultural and historical values

When existing structures in society change, questions arise about the components of our cultural heritage and how we develop both new and existing values. The challenge is to allow older environments to be adapted to modern activities, with requirements regarding accessibility, safety, environment and energy. And at the same time keeping the cultural-historical value intact. A challenge we love to take on!
